"I joined the Honors program because in high school, I was always in honors and AP classes and I thought that this would continue me on the same type of track. I enjoy the smaller, more intimate classroom settings, the benefit of priority scheduling, and how I encounter many of the same people throughout the year from the honors program. It makes the university seem much smaller. I even went on the Honors London trip, where we studied the culture for 10 weeks, then as a class went to London. I made some of my best friends on that trip, and without being in the honors program, that would not have been possible!"

"I am from a small town so when I first came here, I didn't know if I would like such a large school. Joining the Mount Leadership Society Scholars Program completely changed my idea of Ohio State. I now know more people on campus than I could imagine. Most people talk about how huge Ohio State is, but in between classes, I usually see about seven people I know and talk to, who all call me by my nickname, Donkey. My scholars group has also helped me get more involved on campus and land some of the leadership positions I have, like being the Residence Hall Advisory Council Secretary. There is a Scholars Program for everyone's interest; you just have to find out about it. Go Bucks!"
